MANILA — Senator Koko Pimentel has urged bus companies to fully implement an online booking system to help ease congestion at terminals.
The senator highlighted the benefits of online booking.
“Traveling is more convenient with an online booking system. It’s a big help for passengers, especially during peak travel times like holidays,” Pimentel said.
He noted that while many bus operators have adopted online ticketing, some still only accept in-person payments.
Pimentel also called on the Department of Transportation to explore the possibility of requiring terminal fees to be paid online.
“We aim for a smoother and more convenient travel experience for every Filipino. Online booking is one way to achieve this,” Pimentel added.
