MANILA – The southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” is expected to cause isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in Southern Luzon and Visayas, according to PAGASA on Sunday (16 June 2024).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms, which could lead to flash floods or landslides during severe weather.

Light to moderate winds and seas are anticipated nationwide.
