Hundreds of personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) have been stationed at the Manila North Port and other key points in the city to carry out luggage inspections and ensure the safety of travelers departing for their provinces in preparation for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
Simultaneously, the Manila North Cemetery management has issued a notice outlining the prohibited items and activities within the cemetery from October 26, 2023, to November 2, 2023.
These restrictions include:
A) Alcoholic beverages
B) Flammable materials such as paint and thinner
C) Firearms and any sharp objects (e.g., knives, cutters)
D) Videoke machines or any sound systems that may produce loud noises
E) Deck cards, bingo cards, or any form of gambling
F) Pets are not allowed
G) Non-funeral vehicles are prohibited, except for funeral car services
H) Vendors are not permitted
