Undersecretary Edu Punay of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) personally assisted beneficiaries during the launch of the “Walang Gutom 2027 Food Stamp Program of the agency in Pritil, Tondo, Manila on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Usec Punay also thanked the Asian Development Bank, World Food Programme, DOST-FNRI, DOH-National Nutrition COuncil and Pilipinas Kontra Gutom for their roll as partners for the “walang Gutom 2027” Food Stamp Program.
The program’s goal is to enroll as many as one million families who will each receive a tap card containing an amount of P3,000 worth of monthly food credits. (ai/mnm)
