MANILA — Navotas Representative and Alyansa campaign manager Toby Tiangco has denied reports of meeting with the Liberal Party.
Tiangco described the reports as “completely untrue.”
“I haven’t met with Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan,” he stated.
He added, “The Alyansa slate is solid and fully aligned with President Bongbong Marcos’ agenda.”
On Wednesday (26 March 2025), Senator Imee Marcos announced her withdrawal from the administration senatorial slate, which is backed by her brother, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“I can no longer stand on the same campaign platform as the rest of the Alyansa. Clearly, there have been actions taken by the administration that contradict my ideals and principles. As I have stated from the outset of the election period, I will continue to maintain my independence,” Imee said.
