MANILA — Authorities will persist in serving the arrest warrant against Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, according to the spokesperson for the task force assigned to this mission.
PLt/Col Jerick Filosofo noted that today, Friday (30 Aug 2024), marks the seventh day of their efforts to serve the warrant at the KOJC compound in Davao City. He emphasized that they will continue until the pastor is located and apprehended.
“Hangga’t hindi po namin nakukuha si Pastor Quiboloy, patuloy pa po naming i-iimplement ang warrant of arrest against sa kanya,” Filosofo said in a radio interview.
He added that the area is vast and the facilities are complex, making the search challenging. Specific details on the number of hectares searched were not provided, nor was a timeframe for completing the search of the 30-hectare area.
Despite the lawyer’s statement that Quiboloy has left the premises, Filosofo believes the pastor remains in the KOJC compound.
“Our intelligence reports and other indicators suggest that Pastor Quiboloy is still at the KOJC,” Filosofo said.
