MANILA — Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are forecasted to affect various parts of the Philippines this Saturday (12 Oct 2024), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA reported that Batanes and Cagayan will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to a shear line affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the easterlies will bring similar weather conditions to Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
These areas are cautioned against possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
The Bicol Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Metro Manila
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected across the nation.
