Personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-National Resource Operations Center (NROC) in Pasay City render overtime work as they prepare, and packaging relief goods and assorted food packs for delivery to thousands of typhoon Egay victims up north.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council said more than 12,000 individuals were affected by the recent super typhoon to hit the country and were forced to squeeze into temporary shelters in Ilocos and Cagayan Valley without electricity.
