MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that the easterlies will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms in several parts of the country.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin oon Saturday (15 Mar 225), PAGASA reported that areas including Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental will experience cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and other regions will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected across the country.
PAGASA also issued a warning for a “dangerous” heat index of 42°C in Dagupan City (Pangasinan), Aparri (Cagayan), and Zamboanga City.
