MANILA — Roughly 15 months before the midterm elections, ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo and his brother hard-hitting radio journalist Ben were on the top five of the most likely to win in the 2025 senatorial race.
This was revealed on Monday by former Senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV who shared the results of the survey conducted by his Magdalo group from February 7 to 9, 2024 using face-to-face interviews of 2,914 randomly selected respondents.
ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo topped the survey, garnering a preference rating of 62.4%.
Former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III was second, with 54.4%.
Surprisingly getting the third place was former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, garnering a rating of 49%.
In fourth place is Senator Pia Cayetano.
Cong Erwin’s hard-hitting brother-radio journalist Ben Tulfo landed in the 5th spot.
Senators Bong Go and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. took the 6th and 7th place respectively.
Former senator Manny Pacquiao placed 8th.
Ex-senator Panfilo Lacson, 9th, Senators Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, 10th, Imee Marcos, 11th, and Lito Lapid, 12th place.
Meanwhile, the so-called “Kakampinks” apparently suffer another “political massacre.”
Former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan was 13th; former Vice President Leni Robredo, 16th; former Senate President Franklin Drilon in 21st place, followed by former senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV in 22nd place.
