Globe joins Cebu in its grandest festival of the year, providing connectivity and logistics support for Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2024. The festival, often hailed as the “festival of all festivals” in the province, serves as a culmination of the province’s founding anniversary celebrations.
Set on August 25 and 26 at the Cebu City Sports Complex (CCSC), Pasigarbo sa Sugbo is expected to draw 52 contingents of performers from across Cebu and thousands of spectators.
“This year, like in the previous years, we will provide organizers and local authorities the logistics support and reliable connectivity they need to ensure security and proper coordination in and around the venue,” said Patrick Gloria, Globe Vice President for External Affairs.
Gloria has been representing Globe in coordination meetings with the Cebu provincial government and police.

“We will also make sure our network remains strong throughout the festivities so that participants and spectators will stay connected and get to share their festival experience with their friends and with the world,” he said.
In line with its commitment to fostering Filipino cultural and community development, Globe is providing connectivity for the event’s livestream and on-ground network boost to provide reliable connection to attendees.
Globe is likewise providing a LED wall and tents to help ensure the orderly conduct of the festival. To add to the festive spirit, Globe is also contributing prizes for event winners, which will be announced on August 26.
Finally, free Globe SIMs will be provided to a delegation from Russia that will be flying in for the event.
“It has become Globe’s annual pledge to support Pasigarbo sa Sugbo, being a close and constant partner of Cebu Province. As the festival grows even bigger and grander, we will be Cebu’s reliable ally in making sure everything goes smoothly,” said Gloria.
