MANILA – Isolated rain showers will continue to affect most parts of the country, according to the weather bureau on Thursday (10 Oct 2024).
Cloudy skies with occasional rains are expected in Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan, primarily due to the northeasterly wind flow, said Benison Estareja, weather specialist from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Estareja noted, “Localized thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country,” leading to isolated rain showers.
Despite the wet conditions, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate sea conditions will remain across the archipelago.
On a positive note, Estareja confirmed that no weather disturbances are expected to form or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this week.
