MANILA — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has announced the implementation of new ideas and commitments within the Department of Finance (DOF) under the leadership of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto.
“We have embraced numerous new ideas and commitments to enhance the economy,” Marcos stated.
The Chief Executive expressed confidence in Recto’s ability to introduce innovative concepts crucial for the economic transformation of the country.
Marcos clarified that while new initiatives are on the horizon, the policies within the agency will remain unchanged.
“So, the policies remain the same. Fiscal discipline will remain intact,” he affirmed.
The President also mentioned that his economic team is in the process of formulating a list of priorities, focusing on specific projects and further developing proposals generated during his foreign trips.
