MANILA — Malacañang has declared July 2, 2024, as a special non-working day in Pasig City to celebrate the local government unit’s 451st Araw ng Pasig.

“[I]t is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Pasig be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” reads Proclamation No. 612, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

“I, Lucas P. Bersamin, Executive Secretary, by the authority of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., hereby declare Tuesday, July 2, 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Pasig,” Bersamin stated.

The proclamation was signed on June 29.
