MANILA — Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is indeed still in the country, as confirmed by his lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, on Tuesday (March 11, 2024).
During the hearing of the House Committee on Legislative Franchises, Deputy Speaker Jayjay Suarez inquired about Quiboloy’s whereabouts.
“You are meeting with the good pastor tomorrow? So, that confirms he’s still in the Philippines?” Suarez asked.
“Yes, indeed, Your Honor. He is not going anywhere,” Topacio responded.
“I will have a photo taken and send it via Viber to the committee members,” he added when Suarez mentioned rumors of Quiboloy being outside the country.
The committee has approved the measure seeking to revoke the franchise of Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) over several violations.
