MANILA — Senator Bong Revilla stated that he is steadily improving following his surgery for a partial tear in his Achilles heel, sustained during an accident on a taping set.
“I’m getting better. Still on the road to recovery, though, and it’s going to be a long journey. Three to six months to one year, since it’s an Achilles tendon rupture,” Revilla said.
Despite his doctor’s advice, Revilla affirmed his intention to attend the Senate session.
“I’ll be heading to the Senate later. I’ll show up there, against my doctor’s advice. I can be stubborn sometimes,” the senator remarked.
Revilla was in attendance at the signing of the alliance between the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Lakas-CMD.
