MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts continued rainfall in several areas Saturday (07 Dec 2024) due to three weather systems affecting the country.
In its early morning bulletin, PAGASA reported that:
Shear Line: Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Northeast Monsoon: Batanes will have cloudy skies with light rain.
Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ): Caraga and the Davao Region will also see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Other regions can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized weather disturbances.
PAGASA warned of moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas in Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
