MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts generally fair weather across most parts of the Philippines this Sunday, with a possibility of light rain.
The state-run weather agency’s 5 a.m. bulletin also indicates that cold winds will persist due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”
Cloudy skies and light rain are anticipated in the eastern section of Luzon, specifically in the Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and the Bicol region.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including Palawan, can expect generally fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
According to weather specialist Daniel James Villamil, there are currently low chances of tropical storms occurring within the next three to five days.
