MANILA — Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Saturday (14 Sept 2024) formally announced his mayoral bid in Caloocan this coming midterm elections in 2025.
“Today, I formally announce my candidacy for Mayor of Caloocan City in the 2025 elections. Parating na po ang pagbabago,” Trillanes said in his Facebook post.
“Reform is an understatement of what needs to be done and I am ready to take on that challenge to uplift Caloocan and its people.”
Trillanes served as a senator for two consecutive terms from 2007 to 2019.
He also sought a Senate comeback in the 2022 elections but was unsuccessful.
