MANILA – The northeast monsoon, known as “Amihan,” is expected to usher in cloudy skies with sporadic light showers across most of Luzon, including Metro Manila, as per the latest report from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

According to PAGASA’s 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the northeast monsoon will result in overcast conditions with light rainfall in Quezon and the Bicol Region.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are anticipated to experience partially cloudy to overcast skies with isolated light showers.

On a different note, the convergence of a low-pressure area (LPA) and localized thunderstorms will bring partially cloudy to overcast skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the Visayas and Mindanao.

In Northern Luzon, moderate winds are expected, accompanied by coastal waters, while the remainder of the archipelago will encounter light to moderate winds with slight to moderate sea conditions.

Temperature forecasts for various locations include Metro Manila ranging from 24°C to 31°C, Baguio City from 16°C to 23°C, Laoag City from 24°C to 32°C, Legazpi City from 25°C to 32°C, Metro Cebu from 26°C to 31°C, Puerto Princesa City from 25°C to 30°C, and Metro Davao from 24°C to 33°C.
