MANILA — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday (04 April 2024) said that Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy may not be in Davao but he is still in the country.

“We are not sure that he is still here in Davao but we are pretty sure that he’s still here in the Philippines kasi base sa record ng Immigration hindi sila lumabas [ng bansa],” NBI SEMRO director Atty. Archie Albao said.

“Under the law, if you are not arrested, you are considered as fugitive from justice,” he added.

The statement was made after two women, Jackielyn Roy, Crescente Canada, who are also facing child abuse case together with Quiboloy surrendered to the authorities on Thursday.

Albao said that according to the two women, they do not have a communication with Quiboloy in the past few days and they were not able to see him.

According to the official, NBI is coordinating with the camp of Quiboloy for him to surrender to the authorities.
