MANILA — House Speaker Martin Romualdez extended his well wishes to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on the occasion of his 67th birthday, expressing hopes for the President’s continued good health and success.
“On behalf of the House of Representatives, I wish you continued success, good health, and the strength to keep moving our beloved nation forward. May this year bring even more outstanding achievements and fulfillment,” Romualdez said.
Romualdez also reaffirmed the House’s “full support for your vision of a better Philippines,” commending the President’s leadership.
“The leadership you provide continues to inspire us, and we are honored to walk this meaningful journey alongside you. Your steadfast dedication to the Filipino people shines through in every action you take,” he added.
In celebration of his birthday, Marcos directed the Department of Health (DOH) to cover the costs of all inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services in 22 public hospitals nationwide under the administration’s “Zero Billing” program. The DOH has allocated P328 million to these tertiary hospitals to cover patient expenses.
