Manila – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies are forecasted to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across various parts of the Philippines on Saturday 06 July 2024), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA reported that the ITCZ and easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Mimaropa, Quezon, and the Bicol Region.
The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA has warned that moderate to occasionally heavy rains or severe thunderstorms may lead to flash floods or landslides.
Across the archipelago, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected.
