MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience fair weather with isolated rain showers, according to a weather forecaster on Wednesday (09 Oct 2024).

“The low-pressure area we’ve been monitoring has dissipated. The tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is unlikely to enter,” said Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

However, the northeasterly surface wind flow affecting extreme Northern Luzon is expected to bring isolated light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

“The rest of the country will have generally fair weather,” Aurelio added, though isolated rain showers may still occur due to localized thunderstorms.

Additionally, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are forecast across the archipelago.
